It took less than 15 mins for a sloppy DVM (who clearly cant count toes) to ruin Gracelyn’s life with a botched declaw and a pair of unsterile Rescoes. It will take Dr. Doub at least 2 hours in surgery and a small army of Utah community members to fix her macerated paws and get her on the road to recovery. Gracelyn found herself unwanted, homeless, heavily matted, and emaciated at West Valley Shelter where PP-Utah volunteer Debi Bouchard quickly noticed that she needed desperate help. People mobilized and came together FAST to help this sweetheart! One week later and Gracelyn now has a dedicated in home foster with Angela Patey-Johnson who got her all clipped up and is getting weight back on her. Christina Owens of Utah Lost and Found Pets has rescued her and is funding her paw repair. Thousands of others will see her pictures and vow to never declaw. Please share and tell your friends about Gracelyn. No cat deserves this injustice! Together, we can make this world a better place for our feline family members. It starts with one cat…….
