Declawing Cats Causes Depression In Humans

The veterinary profession sees many suffering animals; it has one of the highest rates of suicide, why ADD to the depression by amputating a healthy cat?

Yet, the American Veterinary Medical Association refuses to ban declawing, they allow their vets to amputate healthy cats, their vet members  boast of their new laser machines that amputate all p3 toe bones without guilt, they offer coupons, discounts, declawing with spay/neuter which goes against their own policy….

Many cat parents are devasted once they find out EXACTLY what declawing is, they trusted their vets. Many declawed cats are dumped for post-declaw complications such as biting, not using the litter box, infections, limping, and many more, check the internet, there have been many studies and paw repair surgeries done by The Paw Project.

Caring for declawed cats who have complications is also depressing. Looking into their sad eyes daily, knowing they are wondering what did they do to deserve such a barbaric act when they were babies, always wondering just how much pain they are in, especially after they jump they shake their paws, feeling hopeless when a cat’s personality has been amputated along with their paws, always wondering what is going through a cat’s mind when she is growling and hissing in her sleep…
